Ms. Quinn has over 30 years of legal and business experience.  Prior to running for Mayor of the City of Jackson, Mississippi (2012-2013), Attorney Quinn served as Special Assistant Attorney General, representing the Department of Finance and Administration in matters involving public procurement and government contracts.  She developed a 7 acre, fourteen (14) homesites subdivision, Lakewood Cove, in Jackson, Mississippi.  Attorney Quinn served as Jackson State University's (JSU) first General Counsel for eleven (11) years, and was JSU's key negotiator in JSU's acquisition of the Mississippi Veteran's Memorial Stadium. She was intricately involved in the renewal, renovation, and development of JSU's campus from construction of the Walter Payton Center to the development of University Place.
